I’ve recorded video diaries for years—notes for myself more than anything. Since I started making photo trips, I have also shared behind the scenes moments through Instagram stories. In 2023 I thought, “Why not combine the two and release them as a vlog on YouTube? I must be doing 90% of the work already.” Turns out I was barely doing 10%. Still I enjoyed the process enough to persevere and what started pretty rudimentary as a proof of concept—using just my phone in 2023—has become a hobby that I enjoy almost as much as photography itself. I am not a regular poster on YouTube, but I release each trip once it is edited as weekly series. Below I have linked episodes from each series with my choice of images.
