“Dunster by Moonlight”
Dunster castle is a magical location to visit. I always find the castle difficult to photography though. I’m starting to find my favourite angles, but the atmospherics have never quite been what I have in mind. I have wanted to get a milky way image of Dunster for years now. Unfortunately, when I last went there, the moon was full, and the chances of getting any detail out of the dusty clouds of the milky way were slim. Instead, this is a composite shot. The moonlit castle with its reflection in a flooded field is here backed by a sky that was taken on Exmoor a few days earlier.
