“Scratching that Itch”
I’ve had this shot in mind for over two years, and considering how bad the weather has been this summer for astrophotography, this was a satisfying way to kick off a productive trip to North Wales.
The tide was higher than I was expecting, so the composition wasn’t quite what I had in mind, but I think the inverted question mark of the rocks works with the MW a few degrees off vertical. The mountains on the Llyn Peninsula and meteor streak balance the image nicely.
