Although this image is slightly imbalanced, with too much visual weight pulling your eye to the left portion of the frame, I still like it. Perhaps the gnarled, clawing gesture of the branches in the lower right is enough to even things out and allow your gaze to move through the scene diagonally towards the stormy light on the interestingly shaped peaks. Given how crowded it was on this hike to Laguna Esmeralda, I just count myself lucky that no one was wondering along the beach and I didn’t need to do any cloning.
