“Flooded in Blossom”
I drive past this orchard all the time on my way to work. Every time there is prolonged rain, the road next to the orchard gets flooded and out of the corner of my eye, I catch the reflections on the water underneath the apple trees. I have been waiting for flooding to coincide with a misty morning, but I have yet to get lucky. Last May we had unseasonable, prolonged rain while the apples were in blossom and I took the opportunity. While a little mist to add atmosphere would have made this photo even better, I count myself lucky to have caught a scene like this in Somerset.
