“Convection Fog”
I recently made a distinction in my photography planning. I used to plan shoots only. Typically a plan would involve a scouting trip and some work on PhotoPills before I waited for the right conditions to get my shot. However, I was starting to get quite a lot of folders with locations on Glastonbury Tor and came up with a new category: stomping grounds. Stomping grounds are areas where I have done multiple shoots and explored extensively. Rather than one-off shoots, stomping grounds are places of ongoing study. Now the various shoots from the fields and hills with views onto Glastonbury Tor are neatly nested inside my Glastonbury stomping ground parent folder and my ‘shots’ folder looks much less messy!
