There are certain locations that deserve to be visited over and over again.
This S bend at Cheddar Gorge is one of them for me. I have revisited this location and shot it in all sorts of conditions. This astrophotography version is one of my favorites. I have shot the Milky Way at Cheddar before, but I much prefer this version which is a little more anonymous.
What I like most about this version of this composition is how dark it allows the cliffs to be. The shadows fall into deep darks and only the outcrops catch some of the fading light of sunset.
