Three Sisters of Glencoe

“Like a Bee to…”

The first time I was in Glencoe, I didn’t get it. But with the conditions I had while I circumnavigated Storm Babet on the way home from Assynt last year, I started to understand the landscape. The rain partially obscured the mountains and farther peaks faded to nothingness in the distance.

Of all the images I took during my autumn 2023 Highlands trip, this is the most generic. I usually use a honey pot location to open a trip and get my eye in. But after nine days away from home, I was all out of decision-making juice and the three sisters of Glencoe is spectacular, if not that original.
