“Ichthyosaur Teeth”
I usually slow down with photography in the summer. The light is often harsher and harder to shoot in. The only exception is Kilve. When the evenings open out, I can afford a trip here after work when I am staying down in Taunton. I’m starting to get to know the tides on this stretch of beach quite well. Local knowledge gives you an edge, especially with long tidal ranges such as those we get on the Bristol Channel—knowing that you have time to stay to catch the last of the colour without the risk of getting cut off by the tide allows one to relax and focus on composing a pleasing image.
